1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you access or use tail.trade and any related web pages, tools, or frontend components made available under that domain (the "Interface").

The Interface is a non-custodial web interface that helps users create, sign, and broadcast transactions to smart contracts deployed on the Solana blockchain. This Privacy Policy applies to the Interface only. It does not govern:

If you interact with the Interface, you acknowledge that blockchain-based systems necessarily create public, immutable records that are not controlled by the Interface or its contributors.

2. Who this policy describes

For purposes of this Policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to the persons who publish, maintain, or support the Interface from time to time (the "Interface Contributors"), solely with respect to the Interface. This Policy does not create any partnership, joint venture, fiduciary duty, or other special relationship among any contributors.

3. Data minimization

The Interface is designed to minimize the processing of personal information.

In particular, the Interface is not intended to require or request the following from users in the ordinary course of use:

You should never send private keys, seed phrases, or wallet credentials to us.

4. Categories of information we may process

Even though the Interface is designed to be low-data, some information may still be processed in the ordinary course of operating a website and blockchain interface.

4.1 Wallet and on-chain information

If you connect a wallet or use the Interface to prepare a transaction, the Interface may process information such as:

This information is used so that the Interface can render the relevant blockchain state to your browser and allow you to interact with supported smart contracts.

4.2 Public blockchain data

Blockchain data is public, transparent, and generally permanent. When you use the Interface to interact with the Solana blockchain, the resulting on-chain activity may be visible to anyone, including your wallet address, transaction history, positions, liquidations, and other activity. We do not control the Solana blockchain and cannot delete or alter public blockchain records.

4.3 Technical and usage information

When you access the Interface, limited technical information may be processed automatically, such as:

4.4 Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

The Interface may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technologies for limited purposes such as:

Some of these technologies may be strictly necessary for the Interface to function. Others may be optional under applicable law, in which case the Interface may present additional notice or consent controls where required.

4.5 Information you voluntarily provide

If you contact us, submit a form, join a waitlist, report a bug, or send us an email, we may process the information you choose to provide, such as:

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is strictly necessary for your request.

5. Purposes of processing

  1. to make the Interface available and functional;
  2. to display relevant blockchain information in your browser;
  3. to route requests through RPC, CDN, hosting, and similar infrastructure;
  4. to maintain security, detect abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce access restrictions;
  5. to troubleshoot bugs, crashes, degraded performance, and service issues;
  6. to comply with applicable law, sanctions, court orders, or lawful process;
  7. to communicate with you when you contact us;
  8. to protect our rights, users, infrastructure, and the public.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not run interest-based advertising through the Interface.

To operate the Interface, information may be transmitted to or through third-party providers, such as:

These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their independent processing practices.

8. Geoblocking, sanctions, and abuse controls

The Interface may process technical information, including IP-based location signals and related telemetry, to help:

Geolocation methods are imperfect and may be inaccurate. Access restrictions may be applied or removed at our discretion.

9. International transfers

The Interface may be operated using infrastructure and vendors located in multiple countries. As a result, information processed through the Interface may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions other than your own, including jurisdictions whose data protection laws may differ from those of your home country.

10. Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including security, diagnostics, legal compliance, and dispute handling.

In general:

We may retain information longer if required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our terms.
